Price policy: All prices are quoted in AUD (Australian Dollar) and include 10% gst and exclude shipping and insurance.

All orders are dispatched within 24 hours of cleared payment.

Returns/Exchanges

We want you to love your new piece but we know sometimes you need to see it in your home or business to be sure.  That is why you are able to return your piece should it not suit.  Plus we give it as a refund, not a credit so you can rest easy knowing you are sure of your decision.

Conditions of exchange or refund.

Nomadic Son must be notified within 7 days of receipt of your item being delivered, your intention to exchange or obtain a refund.
* Items must be returned within 7 days from the date you received it.
* Items must be returned in a clean unused and undamaged condition.
* Items being returned must be packaged to prevent soiling or damage during transit.
* Postage costs for the return or exchange items are at the purchaser’s expense.  Even if the item was posted to you with free or discounted shipping.

Where a refund is applicable, Nomadic Son will process your payment as soon as returned items have been accepted.  Refunds will be returned via the same payment method received, unless specified by the customer prior.

 

Ordering within Australia: Online shopping by following the prompts or order by telephone on 0429 899 006. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance.

Ordering from overseas: You can purchase directly from the website but please be aware shipping charges may vary slightly.  We will always confirm with you prior to shipping if there are additional charges and you are free to cancel at any time.  Please contact us directly regarding International postage for all rug/kilims orders so we can confirm postage options and costs.

FYI: When choosing overseas postal options, 'Economy Air' does not have full tracking.  Depending on your country; sometimes the article id can be used on your own countries national post carrier once the order has arrived in your country.  If you would like a service that includes tracking please choose Standard Airmail or above.  For a full list of postal options and what is included please see: Australia Post - International Post Guide

Where 'free shipping' is shown, this is only valid for Australia.   Postage rates for other items can be calculated at check out, or for items not available for purchase directly from website, we will calculate exact postage rates for each individual order. 

Taxes and Customs duties

Taxes and customs duties (if any) differ for each country. Most countries, except USA, are subject to tax and customs duties which are the sole responsibility of the recipient. Since rates vary by country and by what was ordered, we are not able to supply an estimated cost. Customers ordering from overseas should enquire to the relevant authority in their country about what costs, if any are applicable to their order.


Due to the value of our items and the fact that many of them are ‘one off’ items, we may send your package with Australian Registered Post. This means that someone must be available to sign for each delivery.  If you are not available, a card will be left so you can collect at your earliest convenience.

Insurance

We take care to ensure your items arrive to you safely.  You took the time to choose it, so we take the time to make sure all items are packed carefully.   Unfortunatley accidents can still happen.   If you would like to purchase postal insurance ($1.50 per $100 value - set Australia Post rate) please let us know.  We can not accept responsibility for items broken, damaged or lost in transit.  But we will work with you and postal companies to get the best possible result for you.
